2. Global Kindness: Thousands Send Christmas Cards to Terminally Ill Mom

According to People, in a beautiful display of compassion, thousands of people around the world responded to a simple Facebook request from Clare Jones, a mother diagnosed with terminal cancer who wanted to make her last Christmas special.
