Our goal is to empower the next generation of innovators through a vibrant, youth-led digital platform. By delivering trustworthy news, publishing student perspectives, and offering hands-on civic tools, we hope to spark informed action and amplify young voices. Rooted in media literacy, political engagement, and community leadership, we’re building a space where students don’t just stay informed — they get involved, speak up, and lead.
Our Vision
The idea for our platform was born out of a clear frustration: too many young people absorbing misinformation and unintentionally spreading disinformation. As students, we see it firsthand: we watch our peers turn to TikTok for news, scroll through biased headlines, and struggle to separate fact from opinion.
We realized that while our generation is more connected than ever, we’re still missing a space built for us, where our voices aren’t just heard, but valued. A space that doesn’t just deliver the news, but helps us understand it. One that doesn’t just inform, but inspires action.
That is why we built Catalyst, a digital platform powered by students from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared mission; challenge misinformation, share bold ideas, and rewrite the narrative around youth engagement.

Hi! I'm Clara and I'm honored to be co-founder and Editor-In-Chief of Catalyst! I'm currently a sophmore in highschool. I'm American and French. I love writing (of course), political science, soccer, and spending time with my family and friends. I'm looking forward to what's ahead!

Hello all, my name is Tessa. I am co-founder and outreach specialist at Catalyst. I am currently a junior in high school and I speak French and English as an expat traveling the world. I love writing and being informed about what's going on around the world, along with debating and geopolitics. I am so excited to see what this platform can bring to the teen community!
